How to Make Layers of the Ocean Craft

1️⃣ Print the Ocean Layers Template – Download and print the Layers of the Ocean Printable, which includes the ocean zones, labels, and marine creatures.

2️⃣ Cut Out the Layers – Carefully cut along the edges of each ocean layer to prepare them for stacking.

3️⃣ Assemble the Stand-Up Layers – Fold and glue/tape the edges to create a 3D layered effect, with each section standing behind the other to form an ocean depth model.

4️⃣ Attach the Labels – Find the correct names of the five ocean zones (Sunlight, Twilight, Midnight, Abyssal, and Trench) and glue them onto the right layers.

5️⃣ Add the Marine Life – Cut and paste different sea creatures into their correct layers based on where they live.

6️⃣ Display & Learn! – Once the stand-up model is complete, kids can use it as a visual reference to understand the depth and diversity of the ocean!
