How to Make Atmosphere Layers
Print the Template
Start by downloading the Layers of Atmosphere craft template. Print it on standard paper or cardstock for durability.
Prepare Your Materials
Gather child-safe scissors and a glue stick. Ensure kids have a safe workspace to cut and assemble the craft.
Cut Out the Layers
Carefully cut along the outlines of each atmospheric layer included in the printable: Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Thermosphere, and Exosphere.
Assemble the Layers
Arrange the layers in order, starting from the Troposphere at the bottom and working your way up to the Exosphere. Glue each icons onto a backing sheet and use tabs provided in the template for a educational insight.
Stack the Pieces
One by one, stick each element into the designated support holder on the base. Make sure everything is secure and aligned correctly.
Display and Learn
Once assembled, use the craft as a visual aid to discuss the features and significance of each atmospheric layer.
