How to Make Inner Core Layers Craft
Print the Template

Fun Facts About the Inner Layers of Earth
The Earth has four main layers: the crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core.
The inner core is hotter than the surface of the sun, reaching temperatures of about 9,800°F (5,400°C)!
The mantle makes up about 84% of Earth's total volume and is constantly moving, causing plate tectonics.
The outer core is made of liquid metal and creates Earth's magnetic field, which protects us from solar radiation.
The crust is the thinnest layer—compared to an apple, it's as thin as the skin!
